Mix Match Monday

Happy Monday Y'all!
I hope you all enjoyed your Mother's day weekend and were able to snag a few patterns while we had the promo code "ILOVEMOM" for 20% off your order. If not you have until 12pm EST today. (5.13.13)

Alrighty so last week I asked for some photos of outfits that were made using multiple Create Kids Couture patterns. For Example using the bodice from Amber's Sweetheart and the skirt from Addison's triple ruffle. And you all flooded my email! So I spent a good chunk of my weekend ooh'ing and aww'ing over all of your remarkable creations. And I had such a hard time narrowing it down. But I did it. And if your photo is featured Ill be emailing you to find out your pick for your free pattern. How marvelous is it to be rewarded for your creativity?

Jenny sent me this photo that just melted my heart!! The shorts are a mix of Emma's Ruffle Butt Bloomers and Danielle's Cuffed Shorts. The top is a mix of the bodice from Addison's Ruffle Dress featuring a center accent ruffle from Serena's Stripwork, And then she used the skirt measurement from Marilyn's Free Slim Fit Peasant. Is this not an awe-inspiring outfit?

Next we have Jessica from Snickerdoodle Stew who sent a ton of fantastic mix match combos. So here are my two favorite she sent me. First is this stunning dress that is a mix of Serena's Stripwork and Rosanna's Corset Peasant.

And next we have this beauty that is an awesome mix of Stella's Sassy Peasant for the bodice and the skirt from Addison's.

Now onto Kara from Leighlee By Kara who used a combo of  Blair's Bustled Knot for the bodice and Lily's Lovely Apron Romper to make this killer romper. I gotta admit Im dying to use this combo for something for my little one.

And last but not least we have Shelly who used a mixture of the bodice from Faith's Shirred Sundress the  Penelope's Princess Ruffle for the skirt and the corset from the Primrose's Ruffled Corset. Notice how she made the corset changeable? I love it. Because you know someday's call for ruffles in the front and others call for them in the back.

Id love to make Mix Match Monday a weekly blog post. But that all depends on our awesome followers. So please make sure to send any of your stunner mix match combos to Morgan@createkidscouture.com
Happy sewing week!
