Quilt Market Eye Candy

Quilt Market was the most wonderful experience. It was a bit overwhelming at times; just the size of the convention was enough to blow my mind. In the 3 days I spent walking the floor, I was only able to visit about 1/3 of the booths there, and each both was filled with some of the most beautiful things I had ever seen! I've got lots of pictures to share over the next few days. Here's just a taste of some of the incredible things I got to see...eye candy alert!

The quilt, yes, the quilt is what I'm talking about, although Joel Dewberry isn't so bad to look at either, is he? Joel was showcasing his new Notting Hill line which is due out in November. It comes in 3 gorgeous colorways.  Here are just a few of the prints in the Poppy Palette.

The first day of market, Shannon and Tiffany were in line at the Starbucks counter getting coffee for us all, and I was letting Abby run the big wide hallway to get all her wiggles out before putting her in my backpack for the day. Abby is a total people person and loves to give out hugs. I looked up and there she was running straight up to Amy Butler with her arms outstretched, acting like she was a long lost friend. Apparently, Amy Butler is one of Abby's favorite designers too, because they had the sweetest exchange. Of course, my camera was down at the booth :( We visited Amy at her booth again, and Amy let Abby play with the cutest little fabric chicken that was a part of the booth decor.

Stay tuned for lots of more pictures and stories to come about Quilt Market 2012!
