Welcome to Day 5 of our Boys Can Wear Pink blog tour! Today we are taking our Pink to a new place: Dressy! We have two of our all-star testers helping us out with today's theme and I know you're going to love them!
Am I right?! Both of these looks are not only pink, but also super trendy and dressy. We love the versatility of all these patterns -- it just takes a measure of thinking outside the box to create something over the top!
Let's take a closer look at each:
This awesome pink blazer was made by Kimberly Methvin over at Kim's Kreations. I love all the sweet styles in her shop! Kim used our Logan's pattern to create the look you see above.
Plus her son/model is too handsome for words!
We love the authentic blazer construction of Logan's, complete with welt pockets and flaps. Kim opted to leave off the buttons; you can tell her little guy feels totally fab in the open-jacket styling. She also paired the pink blazer with a navy blue button-up underneath, and you could use either Porter's or Eric's pattern for that piece.
Next up is this super cute model, sporting a fabulous CKC ensemble from head to toe! Heather Roulston created this look for her little guy using Eric's Dress Shirt in black, Ryker's Skinny Pants in paint splatters and pink pockets, and of course those irresistible suspenders that came from our Leo's pattern. She buttoned the suspenders in place on the inside of the pants. Genius!
This look was originally going to appear on our "Hipster" post yesterday, because he definitely is all that and more; but we ended up putting him onto dressy day instead. There's no doubt he could wear this to any formal event and get all the attention he deserves! (Of course that face could get away with anything, anywhere!)
I'm always a sucker for fun flat lays. These just turned out so awesome. And yes, Heather made a SECOND outfit for the theme too!
If you ever need a dressy shirt for your kiddo but he protests the idea of a collar, Slate's is the perfect solution! It has the elements of a dress shirt without the collar and cuffs. Pair it with some solid pants and he's good to go!
I love the pink dinos on this fabric print. Whoever created it gets kudos from me!
