8th Day of Christmas: Holiday Ribbon Embellishments

It's the Eighth Day of Christmas, and today's free tutorial is not only super pretty but also very versatile!  You're going to learn an embellishment technique that can be used on just about anything for the holidays -- pillows, towels, wall hangings... and of course clothing!

Aren't they adorable?!  In our free PDF, our designer Brooklyn teaches you how to make these holiday embellishments from beginning to end, with step-by-step photos and clear explanations. You will love the details!

So amazing!  I love how the ribbons are gathered to add so much texture.  And bonus -- she even teaches us how to make those tiny red ribbon flowers!  YES!

Look how stunning they look on a handmade dress too!  This is our Kate's Princess Dress that just released. Super adorable.

We wanted to make sure the tutorial was easy to follow so we had some testers try it out too:

No problem at all!  I love that pink one too.  Just think of all the different wreath combinations you could make for all the holidays year-round!  Sooo... are you ready to try out these techniques?!

And that's it!  You're all set to create ribbon trees, wreaths, and even tiny flowers!  When you have finished whatever project you're working on with these, please come share a photo in our patterns group on Facebook.  We would love to see!

Also, stay tuned for another free project tomorrow!
