Yay! The day is finally here; Welcome to the Soho blog tour here at Create Kids Couture.
A few weeks ago I was invited to take part in the tour for Indygo Junction to kick off the amazing fabric collection SoHo Bandana by Amy barickman.
Now if you follow me here at CKC, or know me in person. You know I am a blue and green girl so when I saw these awesome fabrics my eye of course went straight for those.
So after swooning over Amy as a designer and a person. (You can read her bio here.) I choose a few fabrics and stalked my hippie mailman like it was my job, and when they came I was in awe! The colors are even more amazing in person!
The line includes two bandana prints which are so neat, and several coordinates in navy, green, cream and red. And in lue of the soho tour and the National Sewing Month giveaway that's going on over at Indygo Junction, They are offering a 20% discount for all the CKC fans. Use code SBT20 when checking out.So let me show you what I did with my SoHo! I paired our new Hazel's Hippie Dress and Nicolette's Double Ruffle Pants to make Miss Ayla this adorable outfit!!! And we have been getting stopped non stop about it. We hardly made it out of the grocery the other day.
I'm telling you all these fabrics are stunning! I keep trying to get a picture that would really show just how rich the colors are. But trying to snap pictures of a 15 month old is a task in itself. So your just going to have to take my word for it.
Okay so now on to some fun stuff! To start off Indygo is hosting a HUGE giveaway for national sewing month! And I mean HUGE. Over $2,000 in prizes.
And to make it easy for you girls to enter the sweet ladies over at Indygo Junction have given me the rafflecopter to post here on our blog. So no blog hopping is needed to enter--although you should ;)
On top of that they have also offered to give away a 1 yard cut of the ENTIRE Soho Bandana collection to one of our lucky readers. Create Kids Couture is donating a 3 pack of patterns to accompany the winner--because you're going to need some new patterns for your new fabric! So All you need to do for that is leave a comment below with what CKC pattern you would plan on using with your new Soho stash! Make sure to include your email. And I'll draw a name and announce on our Friday recap later this week.
Happy Sewing Y'all,
Morgan
