We are excited to share with you our December Boutique of the month, Debboutique.
We've had our eye on Deborah Koch for a while, and although she started small, her boutique business has grown by leaps and bounds in the last six months due to her dedication, hard work and keen business sense. I asked Deborah to tell me her story
, and this is what she had to say:

A little over
eleven years ago, I moved to this country with a green card and very
little else. I was fortunate enough to find work making donuts, frying
hamburgers, waiting tables, and in retail while working my way through
college and becoming more proficient at English.

In 2007, I married my
best friend and the love of my life. A few months before my college
graduation in 2008, we decided to start a family. That Christmas, my
husband gave me a sewing machine as a gift. Little did he know that it
would totally change my life.

I started making a few outfits for our
daughter while pregnant and soon after delivery. In 2009, I started
selling my outfits online, in trade shows, and then created Debboutique
LLC. To my delight, both the business and our family have grown. Last
year my husband and I welcomed our second child, a baby boy, into the
family.
