Weekly Wound Up

We're halfway through the month and you will want to be sure to check out all our amazing 12 Days of Christmas projects this week!  We also have some breathtaking new patterns we've been dying to show you. So much to sew and share!

New Releases

This week we have four brand new patterns:

First is Monarch's Transition Dress, which is perfect for dance recitals AND dress up closets! This unique dance wear design converts quickly and easily from a stylish leotard to a fun dress. Monarch will give that WOW factor surprise to any performance routine and is sure to impress and create a memorable awe affect. This convertible dance wear uses snaps/Velcro for easy transition from leotard to dress, or for a simple stand-alone dress you can leave off the over-bodice.

Next we have Nickolas' Drop-Bottom PJs in both Kids and Babies sizes. It's not too late to whip these up for Christmas! They’re super comfy and perfect for holidays, photo ops, sleepovers, or daily wear. Nickolas’ feature a traditional long john style placket in front for snaps or buttons, comfy knit cuffs on the sleeves and legs, and of course that adorable drop-bottom panel that can be either faux or functional. You can embellish the panel with embroidery, decorative buttons, or your favorite fabric. Your kiddo is going to love these new PJ’s!

Finally, we have Hollis' Crossover Hem Top which is such a cute top for those upcoming Christmas parties.  Featuring a fun crossover hem and multiple sleeve lengths, Hollis' is a must have pattern for year round. It's great paired with leggings or jeans, but comfy enough that you could make it as a pajama top for a flattering bedtime look. This pattern was written for the use of knit fabrics. Mix and match prints and solids for a different look each time.

Don't miss out on our 30% intro pricing on any of these amazing patterns; grab your copies today!

On the Blog

This week on the blog we have one regular tutorial, plus five Christmas freebies for you!

First, you can learn how to make an actual opening on the back of Nickolas' drop-bottom PJ's!  The regular pattern has a faux flap for sturdy, wearable PJ's. But if you want to it actually open and show the diaper/bum inside (think Peter Pan) then you can come learn how on our blog post.  (It's also linked in the Nickolas' pattern that's new and on sale.)

Then for the 6th through 10th Days of Christmas we have some super fun projects for you to do with (or for) your family and friends! Above is our On-the-Go snowman and Tree.

Christmas Tree Napkins

 Ribbon Tree Ornaments

Fringe Purse Freebie

Chef's Hat

Aren't they all so fun?!  You can find these Christmas projects and more on our blog. Plus stay tuned for more this coming week!

Our next sew-along starts Monday and for this one we will be sewing up Diana's Vintage Dress!  We hope you will grab the pattern and come join us in our sew-alongs group.  We will have daily steps, helpful tips, plus a chance for prizes every day!

Diana's is our take on a classic look that your little girl fall in love with at first sight! It features a fitted scoop neck bodice that buttons up the back, an angled collar option, new scallop short sleeves, regular short or long sleeve length options as well as a sleeveless option, trim band options for the bottom of the bodice, an optional bodice bow, sash ties option, and ruffle, lace, or ribbon options for the bottom of the dress. This sew-along is your perfect chance to get that last minute Christmas dress sewn up!

That's it for our Weekly Wound Up. We hope you have a wonderful weekend and holiday parties to come!
