Weekly Wound Up

How did the first week of 2016 treat you? My family is all back into our routines, and as much as we dreaded leaving the holidays behind, it kind of feels good!  The kids are busy again, I have more time to sew, and of course we're already planning our outfits for the NEXT holiday. I guess that's just how we roll.  As far as what's been going on at CKC this week, we have some great new patterns and sales to show you! We just keep coming up with new awesomeness. Here goes:

New Releases

One of our recent favorite patterns for toddlers is now available in tween sizes!  Eleonor's Tween Pintuck Dress and Top is versatile with two hem lengths and multiple sleeve options. You can make the adorable pleated version bodice, or keep it a flat front for monogram or applique.  The pattern also includes optional sleeve and hem lace that adds just the right amount of detail.  For the back closure, you can use either a zipper or a keyhole back, giving you a perfect fit every time.

Gentry's Girly Ruffled Dress has something for everyone! You will fall in love with the unique v-neck fitted bodice with back buttons and ruffled cap sleeves. Gentry's even has two skirt options. The fancy, ruffled skirt has a flat front center panel, perfect for showing off a beautiful fabric or even a fun applique. The simple skirt provides the ideal opportunity to showcase a favorite fabric with a simple ruffle at the bottom. No matter what you choose, Gentry's is sure to be a show-stopper! This weekend it is on sale for 30% off!

And we have a new pattern for the boys too!  Baby Oliver's is a handsome vest and tie that is just what your dapper little guy needs for special occasions or every day style! The tie has a comfy neckband with Velcro closure for safety, and our instructions make it a super easy project to sew. The vest is fully lined and reversible, in tuxedo style length. You can use buttons, faux buttons, or snaps on the vest for easy dressing of your little one. Available in sizes NB to 18/24 months, and on sale for 30% off this weekend only!

  1. Thanks for sharing this post – it gave me a lot of inspiration (and gift ideas!) for my teeny tiny nieces! I think the ruffled dress looked absolutely adorable; I can’t wait to try my hand working on that pattern.
