There's a lot of sewing going on in our groups, have you noticed?! Between cooler weather sewing and costume creations, you are busy busy! We are too, with new patterns and free projects galore. At the end of the week it's always fun to see how much more we have for you. Let's take a look!
Our first pattern release is perfect for Fall and all year round! Jillian’s A-Line Snap Dress is a classic style with loads of options and we bet you can’t make just one! Choose from welt pockets (elegant), gathered bow pockets (adorable), or a bow belt with wide belt loops (trendy) – all the versions are super cute! Jillian’s may be partially lined or fully lined; the full lining makes the dress fully reversible! All versions have straps with snaps at the shoulders, the classic A-line shape, and easy instructions for a tidy hemline on a curve. Jillian’s can be made with woven cottons, corduroy, denim, flannel, faux fur, or anything else you choose! The perfect fit allows Jillian’s to be worn on its own during the warm months or layered for cooler weather. Jillian's is available in Baby sizes (NB to 18/24 months) and Girl sizes (2-14)!
Tanner's Newsboy knickers are now available in Baby sizes too! Knickers are super trendy right now and you won’t find a more comfy pair for your little guy! Tanner’s features a flat front with elastic back, traditional knickers length, bands that give a fitted look below the knee, and of course the adorable welt pockets in back. This next resize has been requested many, many times by our customers! Finally, you can make Charles' Prince Jacket in Baby sizes too! Charles’ jacket has a trendy collar, oversized cuffs, and even tails! You can even make a tail-less version for everyday wear!
With Ady’s Paneled Pocket Dress, you get the style that pleases you and comfort that your little will love. This dress is perfect to use up those adorable character panels or t-shirts that your little one loves! Lennon's Colorblock Dress is a truly unique showstopper. The bodice is fitted without the hassle of any elastic or buttons and is perfect alone or layered. The bodice ruffle adds a whimsical, feminine detail. But what sets this dress apart from any other is the colorblocked circle skirt! We're still going strong with our 13 Days of FREE projects! In case you missed any of them, I'll give you a quick rundown:
Day 6: Turn any of your kids' spooky (or not so spooky) tees into the perfect upcycled trick-or-treat bag! The kids can even add paint for an extra creative touch.
Day 7: Whether your kiddo wants to be a plump pumpkin or any other critter/character/object that is roundish like this, come learn how to make it happen! Using this technique, the bulk is all secured between the layers, making the costume comfy and easy to wear.
Day 8: Put down the gauze and safety pins; you won't be needing them. Here's a costume that your little mummies can put on all by themselves! It's spooky and comfy!
Day 9: Look how adorable! No more trying to steal baby's paci to get a great photo of his/her costume. You will want to keep this one in!
Day 10: Look at these adorable Fall Felt Pumpkins! They're easy and unique, plus you can leave them up all the way until Thanksgiving! They also make fun photo props.
