It's already Day 9. Can you believe it?! We're having so much fun that the time is flying by. For today's free project we have Leah here with an accessory that's perfect for babies!
How adorable is this? Your baby won't even realize that his/her beloved pacifier is part of his/her costume! We all know how fun it is to try to steal baby's pacifier to get that perfect photo. Well now there's no reason to take it out! Baby's even better with it in. Here's Leah with the tutorial:
What you’ll need:
Pacifier
Glue gun
Red, black, and white stiff felt (I found mine at Joann's)
Vampire template (Click here to download)
Step 1. Cut out all of your template pieces in felt.
Step 2. On the back side of the lip piece, put glue around the edges of the opening, as shown above. Then glue the black background piece on the back of your lip piece.
Step 3. Flip the lips over to the right side.
Step 4. Glue the teeth to the black background piece.
Step 5. Glue your vampire lips onto your paci and you're done!
It's really that simple! Thank you, Leah!
One little note about safety -- This is obviously a costume piece and you need to exercise caution with baby, as always. Keep an eye on them while using the paci. They'll be so super cute that you wouldn't want to look away anyway, right?!
