Weekly Wound Up

We had an exciting week with several releases in multiple sizes, a big blog post we've been gearing up for, and a contest that's already in progress for Mother's Day. On top of that, we have a new Sew-Along to announce for the coming week, and our weekend sale patterns are two oldies but goodies that you might not have noticed before. How was that for a teaser? It's Weekly Wound Up time!

New Releases

On Monday we released four new baby patterns!  First, Francesca's is a one-shoulder over-the-top dress that is sure to satisfy your ruffle cravings, with a perfect fit on your little one. Second is Baby Lola’s. This pretty halter dress has easy tiers that will give you plenty of twirl and fullness. Baby Danielle’s cuffed shorts have a tied waist and cuffs for a unique touch. Last is Baby Destiny’s Top. This sweet top has three rows of full ruffles and a sweet shirred bodice with ties.

Sparrow's A-Line halter-style pattern is already a trendy favorite in our patterns group after just two days! It is available in both toddler and tween sizes and includes three length options--top, tunic and dress. With its adorable collar, you will NEED this pattern for those warm summer days! Pair Sparrow's with cute shorties and you have a stunning look that is so quick and easy!

Just yesterday we released Peggy's Peplum Dress in toddler, tween, and women's sizes.
Peggy's is a flattering and comfortable knit dress that both you and your daughter will love! The toddler and tween have 2 versions: tie back with flutter sleeve options and scoop back with collar. The women's pattern has the flattering scoop back with collar. Don't miss out on these adorable patterns while they are 30% off!

On the Blog

If you own a boutique or want to sell your creations someday, it is important to know about Compliance. You can read all about it in our latest Boutique Basics blog post, where we share helpful info and links to get you started. And if you already have a boutique, it's a good idea to come make sure you are registered properly, both for business compliance and safety compliance.

In honor of Mother's Day and the release of Peggy's, we are having a contest! All you need to do is create a "Mommy and Me" Peggy set, photograph them, and then post the photo to our wall by 9:00 pm EST this Sunday (May 3) using the hashtag #mom&mepeggy, for your chance to win a FREE pack of our paper patterns! Good luck! We can't wait to see your entries!

Our next installment of the CKC Academy Sew-Along series begins this coming Tuesday, May 5! We will be sewing Aubrey's Tiered Ruffle Knot Dress! We will learn how to sew a different style of ruffle than what we did with Amanda's last month, and we will also learn to sew buttonholes. The pattern is on sale for 50% off this weekend in doll, baby, and girl sizes!  We hope you will come join us in the CKC Sew-Alongs group! We always have fun and there are even prizes!

Weekend Sale

Rompers are a trendy must-have for this coming summer (trust me!), so you will definitely want to grab Rebecca's Knit Romper while it is on sale for 50% off this weekend!  Rebecca's is a beginner level pattern and your daughter will love how comfy it is and how adorable she feels. Rebecca's features skinny straps with a ruffle bodice and attached ruffle shorts, making it an all-in-one perfect outfit for summer!

Adelaide's Ruffle Neck pattern is also on sale for 50% off this weekend. The pattern comes with all three length options: top, dress, and maxi. Adelaide's features a ruffled neckline, attached sash, and options for either a banded or ruffled skirt. With the perfect amount of vintage charm, your daughter and boutique customers are sure to fall in love with Adelaide's.  With so many patterns on sale this weekend, don't forget that we have tiered pricing! The more you buy, the more you save!

This wraps up our Weekly Wound Up. Have a wonderful weekend!

Let's Create! ~ Kristen
