Happy Easter Weekend! We have been seeing so many cute Easter outfits in our sewing group and I just love this time of year! All growing up I wanted to learn to sew, mostly so I could make matching Easter dresses for my future daughters, just like my amazing mom did! (I had three sisters.) Because I was blessed with four boys and one daughter, however, the whole matching dress idea never panned out. But I still think of Easter as the best event to sew for, with it's fresh designs and Spring colors. (And there are plenty of cute matching options for boys!) Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the Easter weekend as much as I plan to! First, let's take a look at this past week:
Speaking of boys... This week we released Landon's Knit Pants and Stephen's Comfy Robe! Landon's have a drawstring and are the perfect new staple for your boy with a cute hipster style. They are fitted perfectly for boys and look great paired with a cool jacket or button up. Stephen's Comfy Robe is exactly that - comfy! It is an easy sew with fleece, minky, terry, etc. Your boys (and girls!) will love to wear this robe for bathtime, bedtime, or any time in between!
In the crochet department we released two new patterns, each with a lot of features!
First up is the adorable Hudson's Hooded Vest! With chunky stitches and a fun hood design, keep your little guy warm AND handsome! Dinosaur and animal ear accessory instructions included!
And then Emerson's Crochet Trim and Pocket Pattern has seven projects included: three beautiful trim tutorials and four fancy pocket patterns, all in one! Add the perfect touch to any outfit...or use the double layer knit skirt pattern that's included!
This week we also added new embroidery designs that exclusive to CKC! It's a great way to add personality to any garment, including one that says "I'd rather be wearing CKC." So cute and clever! You can get these (and more) applique files from Bobbin for Appliques right on our website!
