Weekly Wound Up

Last week we took a little break from the Weekly Wound Up and newsletter. Did you notice? We were on vacation and then returned wearing black mouse ears and big smiles on our faces. I bet you can guess where we went!  It was a magical time full of memories. Then we jumped right back into the fun here at CKC and  have had a pretty exciting week! And on top of that, this weekend is Natalie's 7th birthday! Be sure to stick around so you can see how we're going to celebrate! You're invited!  But first, let's take a look at our new releases:

New Releases

If your little princess is dreaming of glass slippers, Elora's Enchanted Princess Dress is the perfect pattern to create the look she wants! Elora's features a full shoulder sash, a fitted bodice using buttons on the V back, and a full double-layer skirt. The princess skirts are attached to the waistline with a V in both front and back, and you won't believe how easy it is to achieve this perfect princess look! Elora's is available in both Girl and Tween sizes, just in time for the new movie releasing next month!

Then this week we also released two new doll patterns! First is Trinity's Tiered Twirly Dress, which has a peasant style bodice, three sleeve lengths, and can be made as a top or a dress. The second pattern is Winnie's Hooded Dress and Sweatshirt! Now you can bundle up your doll in fleece for the cold winter days. It has a hood with two different optional ears, and a kangaroo pocket in front.

Just yesterday we released three new crochet patterns!  First up is the adorable and super easy Sidda's Pixie Bonnet! With all of the options including ruffle trim, a woven style and the simple version, this bonnet is a must have to coordinate with all your outfits! Doll to adult sizes included!

Next up, Petra's Pretty Collar pack has three beautiful accent collar tutorials! Make a fancy picot collar, a classy ribbon-tie collar, or a unique rosette necklet! So pretty!

And last, but certainly not least, get Hunger Games inspired with Kat's Cowl Vest! Made with super bulky weight yarn, you'll have everyone talking about your fabulous and trendy vest! This pattern includes women's sizes XS-XL!

On the Blog

Our free tutorial for a Girl's Infinity Scarf will be sure to please (and warm up) your little cutie! This project is easy to sew, and if you have never used knit before, this is a great place to start!

This week we added a new episode to our Sewing 101 series! If you're new to sewing and want to know how to make different types of hems, this week's blog post is a great place to see them up close!
