I have a feeling it's going to be a "Super" weekend, how about you? A lot of our fans really get into the Super Bowl by making cute team outfits for their kiddos, and it has been fun to see all the excitement in our group this week. We also have a #fangirl contest AND a related fabric coupon in our newsletter today, so be sure to keep an eye out for those as you read through this Weekly Wound Up!
On Monday we released two new crochet patterns. We're on a roll with the cuteness! First up is Esme's Cowl Vest. With chunky stitches and oversized arm openings, this lovely vest will keep your little one warm with any outfit. Mix up colors for the attached cowl or create a stunning solid vest. Rosette accent instructions are included!
And get ready to accessorize with the much-anticipated Tillie's Ruffle Snug Set! This pattern includes instructions for matching ear warmers, leg warmers AND fingerless gloves. With or without the ruffles and with its bubbly stitch design, this set is a MUST HAVE in your crochet pattern collection!
Then on Wednesday, we released four new baby patterns for you! First is Baby Genevieve’s Ruffle Knot Top, which is perfect for any season, either alone or layered over a shirt. Next is Baby Kadence’s Knot Top with two layers and lots of twirl! Baby Amanda’s Triple Ruffle Skirt is a must-have if you love babies in ruffles! Add some boots and tights and you have an adorable winter look. Last, we have Baby Daphne’s Bubble Skirt and Top. It can be worn high as a top or lower as a skirt. Each of these patterns will be so adorable on your baby girl!
Then just yesterday we released Lyric's Knit High Low Ruffle Dress and Tunic in both girl and tween sizes! This classic style knit dress features three sleeve lengths and a high low hemline with a ruffle trim. It’s perfect for your little girl to twirl around in, without a lot of bulk. Since Lyric's is available in both girls and tween today, we decided to do a fun little contest! Simply make a Lyric and post it with the hashtag #CKCLyric before midnight CST on February 4th, and we will pick a winner to receive a free yard of knit fabric! How easy is that? Best of all, the pattern to use is on sale for 30% off as a new release!

This pretty chiffon rosette is the perfect finishing touch for that outfit you're working on! Come learn how to do this quick project as Stephanie Baker shares her tutorial with us on the blog.
Our new Lyric's high low dress pattern can also be made as a top! The pattern is complete on it's own for making a dress and tunic, but if you want to alter the pieces a bit to make a trendy top as well, come see how Nikki did it on the blog!
Our #ckcfangirl promotion was such a hit last week that we decided to take it right into a new contest! You can get all the details by watching this video from Shannon and Tiffany. (Hint: The deadline is on Sunday morning, so don't wait too long!)
Look at this great themed fabric from StitchStashDiva! As Morgan was ordering it for the big game, the fabric shop offered to share a coupon code with all our CKC fans! Just head on over to their site and use the code "CreateKids" for 10% off any purchase of $35 or more. Valid through 2/6/15. Enjoy!
Blayci's Skinny Pants are just what your little girl needs for everyday wear, and they are on sale this weekend for 50% off! Blayci's pattern uses woven fabric and includes instructions to get the perfect fit, even if you need to slim them for a tiny girl. With options like front creases, front pockets, and piping, you can make a variety of different versions using just one pattern!
Layla's Pleated Dress and Top pattern is also on sale for 50% off this weekend. It features a curved bodice, shirred straps, and those adorable pleats for the skirt. If you have never sewn with pleats before, this pattern makes it easy to create a stunning dress in no time at all.
Then, if you want a perfect match for the pleated dress, our third pattern on sale this weekend is Nala's Pleated Ruffle Pants and Capris! Just look at those cute pleats! You can make Nala's as pants or capri length, and they even have inseam pockets that your little girl will love. These weekend sale patterns are all half off all weekend so don't miss out!
That's all for this Weekly Wound Up! We hope you enjoy your weekend ahead, whether you're cheering on your favorite team or enjoying some quiet time sewing.
