We hope you all had a safe 4th of July weekend and a productive week since! In today's recap we will announce the winner of our holiday contest and show you all the new happenings here at CKC this week.
Our first new release of this week is Flora's Summer High-Low Dress. It is the pattern of the month for July and can be made with all sorts of fabrics - knits, cottons, lace, sheer fabric, organza, etc! If you decide to use a sheer fabric, the pattern also includes a skirt liner underneath.
We also released three new doll patterns this week. The first is Lily's Lovely Apron Romper, great for an active girl and her favorite doll! Next is Kiki's Ruffled Top AND Kara's Triple Ruffle Pants, both together in one pattern! The third pattern is Pippa's Poncho and Ryann's Reversible Sunhat, also together in a set. Here's your chance to make a new tiny wardrobe for those mini me's!
On the Blog
Congratulations to Missy Chess of Missy's Munchkins, our Boutique of the Month for July! Missy sells handmade and embroidered items from baby sizes on up to women's plus. We highlighted her shop and several of her creations on the blog on Monday.
Look at this fun project we did for How-to Tuesday! It's a great way to use up scraps and create the perfect housewarming or hostess gift.
Do your kids have jeans that still fit even though they have holes in them? Mine sure do! Here's a fun upcycle project to turn those holey jeans into a cute summer skirt! Our free tutorial will work for all sizes!
Yesterday on the blog we announced a giveaway for a free Stitch Box from Stitch Box Monthly! You still have five days left to enter the giveaway so don't miss out. Also, come see what I received in my own Stitch Box last month!
The first place winner of our Fourth of July contest is Kristi Fitzpatrick! She made a Poppy's Peekaboo Dress with lights that turn on! How clever and perfect is that for the holiday?!
It's time for Half-Off Friday! For today's sale pattern in Women's, we have chosen Paris' Party Dress for Women. This dress is a favorite pattern in all sizes, with its unique one-shoulder design and beautiful skirt.
And guess what -- The tween size of Paris' is on sale as well! So that is 50% off Paris' in Tweens and Women, all day Friday!
That brings us to our HOF pattern for girls! All day Friday you can get Allie's A-Line Knit Ruffle Dress for 50% as well.
Allie's is a super comfy dress that comes with all kinds of options! You can do the simple version or you might decide to go all out with ruffles and a hood. Allie's is so sweet and here are some more photos of this dress in action:
That's all the news we have for you this week. Thanks for sticking with us and have a happy Friday!
