Friday Recap

Is it just me or did this past week FLY by in the blink of an eye?  It's been a productive one here at CKC though and we have a lot of exciting things to show you:

New Releases

On Monday we released Jeffrey's Summer Jumper in older Boys' sizes!  Just like the baby version, Jeffrey's has cuffed shorts, adorable bibs, a unique front pocket, and all-boy straps that attach with either buttons or snaps. Your little guys are going to love their Jeffrey's!

This week we also had a special surprise release - Lexie's Retro Halter Dress in dolls, tween, and women's sizes!  Lexie's is such a fun retro-inspired dress, featuring a unique halter neckline and a full twirly skirt. The women's pattern also has two length options.  Lexie's is going to be your favorite in all sizes!

This week we released two doll patterns. First is a two-in-one pattern that includes both Mia's and Yvette's Knot Dresses. They are unique and perfect for summer!  The second doll pattern is Ivy's Criss-Cross Ruffle Dress, which has options for both a dress and a top.

Our final release for this week is Hope's Hi-Low Dress and we "hope" you love it as much as we do!  Hope's has a new bodice style as well as a brand new hi-low skirt that is perfect for posing or twirling - or both!

On the Blog

Congratulations to PAJE Collection, our Boutique of the Month for June! On Monday's blog post can see come Rikki's gorgeous creations and read about what makes her boutique such a success. You will love the summer line she created!

On Tuesday we shared our free tutorial to make this simple pillow sham. It's a quick project and can fit any size of pillow. What a perfect way to brighten up your home for summer!

Many of you have been asking for a tutorial on how to add snaps to the bottom of Jeffrey's Summer Jumper. Well here it is!  Our step-by-step pictures will make it a breeze for you to add snaps and make diaper changes easier. (Yes, the tutorial will work for Rayna's Romper too!)

Are you looking for some new ideas on how to organize your sewing space, whether big or small? Yesterday on the blog we showed how one of our CKC fans, Andrea Heacock, designed and organized her small sewing room under the stairs. She thought of everything! And she even tells us where she got all her supplies.

In the CKC Sew-Alongs group we're all getting ready for our next sew-along that begins on June 18. We will all be sewing Penny's Patchwork Twirly Dress and if you haven't done a sew-along before you will love it!  We will set a schedule of daily steps and then we'll all post our photos as we progress. And guess what - there are even prizes! The sew-along is a great way to gain sewing tips and enjoy friendship with fellow seamstresses. Please come join us in the CKC Sew-Alongs group!

We've been so excited to finally show you!  We have some AWESOME new CKC goodies available for you to purchase! Check out our new CafĂ© Press store! We have shirts, stickers, mugs, onesies, boxer briefs(!), sweatpants, keychains, pillows, clocks -- you name it!!  All CKC and all for you!
