On the Blog
Look what we created just for our fans! On the blog you can print off our 2014 CKC Calendar that shows new releases, sales, and other scheduled events. Each month also features a cover photo, a motivational phrase, and even a special space for you to write down the sewing projects you're working on this month! You can find the link for the 2014 CKC Calendar here.
On Tuesday we posted this free tutorial to make a business card holder. They're easy, cute, and very useful! You can find the Business Card Holder blog post here.
Then for our Tips and Tricks this week we showed how to use a rotary cutter for our CKC patterns. It's very helpful! We also got to ooh and aah over this super fun Valentine's Day fabric.
Congratulations to the winners of our CKC Christmas contest! There were four categories:
Jenny Kyle is the winner of our women's category. We loved her Mommy and Me outfits! Jenny is wearing the Izzy's Women's skirt pattern and her daughter is wearing Cosette's.
The winner of our boy category is Edna Cohen! She turned our free Taylor's pajama pants into dress pants with pockets! Her model is pretty cute too.
Melisha Wilkey Leveille is the winner of our tween category. Actually, her tween daughter Izabel made this dress herself! Very impressive! This is Joy's Twirly Dress for Tweens.
Our GRAND PRIZE winner is Mandy Brown! She made Tessa's tops and Libby's leggings out of stretch lace. The dresses are a mashup of our Primrose's bodice (with her own ruched inset) and a skirt mashup of Poppy's and Primrose's. We think they turned out pretty amazing!
Our Half-Off Friday patterns for this week are Caroline's Princess Peasant Top and Dress - AND Bonnie's Princess Pants and Capris! That's a lot of options! Each of the patterns is 50% off for today only and they go perfectly together. Here are a few more pictures of the two patterns together, just for fun:
These girls just couldn't be any cuter! Well, that's all for this week. Thanks for reading!
