We hope you are enjoying the holidays! Even though we have taken couple days off this week to celebrate Christmas with our families, we still had a lot going on at CKC and we want to make sure you didn't miss any of it! Here's our recap:
This week we released Ashili's Pleated School Dress. It's available in sizes 0-3 months all the way up to Tween 15/16! The dropwaist bodice is made of comfy knit fabric and the pleated skirt and waistband are woven fabrics. The pattern comes with three sleeve options and we know you'll love it!
On the Blog
This week on the blog we posted the winning video for our Twelve Days of Christmas contest. We also gave a picture review of all the great tutorials we offered for free. You can see those and the winning video here.
If you've ever wondered how to add a trim band to a dress or top, we posted all about it with step-by-step pictures. There are some really fun examples to see too!
Next up on the blog, we wished our fans a Merry Christmas by sharing our CKC cuties in their Christmas challenge costumes we created for them. We had a lot of great feedback on this one! You can find our special Christmas post here.
Then for our most recent blog post we provided you with a free printable template to write Thank-You notes with the kiddos. This makes it easy and fun to show your gratitude!
We are still accepting entries for our annual Christmas contest! To enter your photo, post it to the CKC fan page and label it Christmas Contest - and be sure to tag Create Kids Couture. The contest is open until December 29 at midnight EST. There will be one winner in each category (girl, boy, tween, and women) and then one of those will be chosen as the grand prize winner. Good luck! Here is a link to see the gallery of Christmas contest photos that we have received so far. We love to see your creativity, and of course your cute kids too!
It's time for Half-Off Friday! This week we have chosen Amber's Simple Halter Top and Dress to be half off. It sounds like a lot of our fans have received new machines for Christmas and this is the perfect pattern to try them out on! It's a simple design and perfect even for beginners - and of course it turns out really cute. Amber's can be layered for cooler weather and can be made as either a dress or a top. The pattern is half off for today only, so grab it now while you can!
That's all for our recap this week. We hope you enjoy the rest of the holidays! If you have kids at home for Christmas break, it's the perfect chance to be measuring them, picking out fabrics they like, or even working on projects together. Enjoy!
